The Rector of South East European University, Prof. Dr. Zamir Dika upon the invitation of the organizers took part in the International Conference on Economics of Education in Kosovo: “Walk on – Education for Economic Development”, which had gathered from 17-18 September 2013, in Prishtina, representatives of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, Macedonia and countries of the region, leaders of public and private education institutions, civil society, education experts from different countries of the world etc..
In this two-day conference organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kosovo, in cooperation with the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), were revealed different views on the future of education and sustainable economic development. Minister of Education, Science and Technology of Republic of Kosovo, Ramë Buja said that this conference is a unique event and very important to the education system in Kosovo, organized for the first time in the region.
